We're hiring a Marketing Services Coordinator to join our Marketing Team. You'll support market research and leadgeneration, create and publish website and email content, maintain marketing collateral, coordinate tradeshow logistics and onsite needs, and collaborate across teams to help drive campaigns and growth opportunities.

Position Summary

Responsible for supporting the operating groups and division's business development activities by identifying target markets and accounts and by coordinating marketing communications activities. this will include conducting market research, identifying new market segments, researching new customers, creating catalogs; datasheets, managing web-based marketing initiatives; email campaigns and coordinating trade shows.

Scope/Supervision and Interaction

The Marketing Services Coordinator will collaborate with Business Development Managers, Product Managers, Territory Sales Managers, Marketing and Engineering staff.

Primary Responsibilities

Conduct Market Research

  • Identify target accounts in a given market segment through various methods, trade show participation and by using web-based resources
  • Research new markets for products and material technologies
  • Identify market trends and drivers. Present findings to Business Development Managers to aide in deployment of R&D resources and funding
  • Analyze lost business and cross sales analysis reports
  • Identify sources for economic and market data relevant to Parker
  • Compile charts, reports and data based on research activity to aide in forecasting and resource alignment
  • Develop sales blitz and email campaigns
  • Manage customer satisfaction surveys
  • Conduct competitive market analysis
  • Conduct competitive pricing analysis research to aide in pricing strategy and developing new product value propositions

Manage Marketing Communications Activities

  • Develop and maintain division literature including technical datasheets, catalogs, and newsletters
  • Maintain Parker.com divisional pages
  • conduct direct mail and electronic advertising campaigns
  • Coordinate divisional participation in trade shows

Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree in marketing, business, economics or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing experience or training
  • Experience using desktop publishing and/or graphics design software is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze data and draw data-based conclusions
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel to analyze data and create charts is required
  • Strong presentation skills and familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Basic understanding of business to business sales and manufacturing
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts and develop bulletins and product literature
  • 10-15% travel is required
