How you will make history here...

As the Manager, Transportation Performance Management, you will lead transportation performance measurements and reporting across all modes and business units. You will ensure alignment with corporate goals for service, cost and operational excellence by developing data-driven insights, standardizing key performance metrics and driving accountability across internal teams and external partners. You will develop and manage strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, external carriers and third-party logistics providers, utilizing performance metrics to drive accountability and results.

In this role, you will also provide strategic leadership in advancing Campbell's transportation reporting, analytics and digital transformation capabilities. You will guide your team in creating best-in-class visibility and data-driven insights that enable predictive, real-time decision-making and long-term logistics strategy development.

What you will do...

* Provide strategic leadership and accountability for the efficient and effective utilization of all transportation management operations supporting both raw material and finished goods shipments. Ensure performance aligns with company service, cost, and quality objectives in partnership with third-party logistics providers.
* Partner with ship site leadership to identify and execute logistics improvement opportunities, elevating operational performance and alignment with network goals.
* Champion and implement corporate transportation initiatives, ensuring consistency of policy, process, and compliance across the network.
* Deliver industry-leading service performance by fostering strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, carriers and third-party logistics providers to achieve shared objectives and mutually beneficial outcomes.
* Lead monthly logistics performance reviews, including reporting, scorecarding, benchmarking and analytics to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
* Proactively identify and scope service improvement initiatives that generate measurable enhancements across the enterprise.
* Anticipate and address operational and systemic issues within various transportation segments to ensure uninterrupted product flow and cost consistency.
* Challenge conventional logistics practices by driving innovative, scalable solutions that leverage enterprise volume and data to achieve lower total delivered costs and improved service.
* Own the achievement of on-time performance across business units, ensuring alignment with company KPIs and customer expectations.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Supply Chain, Customer Supply Chain and Warehouse Operations teams to ensure seamless transportation execution within financial and service parameters.
* Advise senior management on transportation-related risks, cost exposures and opportunities to enhance efficiency and service.
* Lead, coach and develop team members to strengthen analytical capabilities, operational discipline, and leadership readiness within the transportation organization.
* Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.

* Experience in analytics with an emphasis on finance or transportation accounting including previous experience of managing a team.
* Intermediate skills with BI Tools and Microsoft office tools including Excel and PowerPoint. Previous experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar tools would be advantageous.
* Ability to present data in a visually compelling format to help partners understand the issues, possibilities and recommendations
* Ability to synthesize complex data into themes, stories and recommendations.
* Knowledge of how systems work together and functionality of systems upstream and downstream.
* Intimately understand system relationships and data flow.
* Coach and lead your team of Analysts in data governance, report design & analysis and data presentation as well as in technical and organizational effectiveness.
* Ability to understand industry and economic drivers (ex. freight supply and demand, fuel, spot market) and trends to develop long term strategies and potential industry capacity issues.
* Familiarity with all modes of transportation and logistics industry best practices.
* Participate on project teams in reviewing and updating policies that align with overall business direction.
* Optimize and propose innovative transportation strategies to deliver the highest levels of supply service at the lowest possible cost.

What you will bring to the table... (Must Have)

* Bachelor's Degree
* 4+ years of industry experience within Transportation/Logistics.
* SAP, Excel, Power Point, Power BI and Transportation Management System (TMS) platforms.

It would be great if you have... (Nice to Have)

  • 5+ years of Transportation/Logistics experience
  • Strong Power BI and TMS experience
  • Previous Food Industry experience

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$97,400-$140,100

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
