As a Security Professional - Residential Patrol Driving Role in Wyandanch, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine vehicle patrols throughout residential locations. Your presence and attention to detail will help to create a welcoming environment for residents while you monitor assigned areas, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers the opportunity to interact with residents and staff, contributing to a positive community atmosphere. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for residential locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Assist with access control measures, including monitoring entrances and verifying credentials as needed for residents, guests, and vendors.
• Support emergency response efforts in accordance with site-specific guidelines, including assisting first responders if required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities for reporting purposes.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
