Schedule:40 hours/week | Flexible Schedule Options (e.g., four 10s, five 8s)
Work Environment:Hybrid or Fully Remote (after training)
Department Hours:Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Schedule Type:Consistent or Rotating - your choice!

About the Role:

MaineHealth Cardiology - Waterville is seeking aPatient Service Coordinatorto support our busy and dedicated cardiology team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the practice by managing complex scheduling for providers and patients, and by delivering high-level administrative support that enhances the patient experience.

As a Patient Service Coordinator, you'll serve as a key liaison between patients, providers, and clinical staff, ensuring efficient workflows and excellent service throughout the patient journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage complex scheduling for providers and patients
  • Serve as the primary administrative support for clinical staff
  • Handle patient inquiries, appointment changes, and follow-ups
  • Ensure accurate documentation and patient record maintenance
  • Promote a smooth, patient-centered experience from check-in to follow-up

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Two years of administrative patient service experience.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.
