Job Description Summary:

Oversees the day-to-day operations of assigned behavioral health programs to achieve organizational goals. Collaborates with operational, clinical, and administrative leadership in the service line and across the hospital to maintain strategic alignment.

Job Description:

Essential Functions:

  • Supervises team members, facilitating effective problem solving and conflict resolution. Plans, directs, and evaluates the work of subordinate staff.
  • Develops, implements, and oversees operational processes and procedures for identified programs. Manages policies and other data management documentation.
  • Establishes and maintains systems to monitor program performance and outcomes, including preparation of reporting for leadership.
  • Develops and implements change management strategies and plans. Evaluates existing programs and directs the implementation of projects and improvements.
  • Understands and advances the hospital and service line goals for identified programs. Supports priorities by aligning strategic goals with finances.

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or a related field, required.
  • Master's Degree, preferred.

Skills:

  • Effective supervisory and managerial skills. Proven methodology for team development and management, along with consensus-building skills.
  • Strong sense of individual accountability and an excellent team player.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills to effectively interact with medical staff, consultants, external professionals, administrators, and employees at all levels.

Experience:

  • Management experience, required. Five years of management experience within a healthcare environment, preferred.
  • Experience applying data visualization and data storytelling techniques to communicate complex data in a clear, compelling, and actionable way, required.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations for leadership, required.
