POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Manager of Enterprise Applications is responsible for the maintenance and continual improvement of the firm's financial and HR applications, meeting the evolving needs of the finance and HR functions of the firm with best-in-class business applications and platforms. The Senior Manager is responsible for the performance of their specialized applications team, contracted staff, and vendors, ensuring excellence in service and project delivery.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As directed by the Director of Enterprise Applications, the Senior Manager will ensure the firm's financial and HR applications are supporting, automating and improving the business processes of the firm's finance and HR departments and their customers.
  • Lead a team of staff, consultants and vendors in their support of the application lifecycle, ensuring resources and work assignments are meeting firm needs for both routine activities and project work.
  • Provide team members with professional goals, coaching, feedback, opportunities for training and development and performance appraisals.
  • Validate solution designs and configurations presented by staff, consultants and vendors to ensure they are best-in-class and compliant with all technology performance and security requirements.
  • Ensure all application administration, maintenance, change management, support processes and knowledge sharing are aligned with firm policies and protocols and are prioritized in accordance with business needs and impact.
  • Contribute ideas for improvements to these processes and fully participate in change and transformation efforts, in particular the advancement of cross-functional collaboration and cohesion.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field required.
  • 10 + years of experience in the technology industry or in a technology function focused on enterprise application management required.
  • 5+ years of experience in supporting both HR and financial systems in a professional services industry required.
  • 3+ years of management experience required.
  • Experience with Aderant or other legal accounting systems required.
  • Experience with UltiPro or other HR platforms required.
  • This role is hybrid and must live within a commutable distance to the designated firm office with the ability to come into the office 3-4 days per week.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience with legal time keeping systems preferred.
  • Experience with expense reporting systems preferred.
  • Experience with talent management systems preferred.

SALARY

Illinois based applicants only: The target annual salary range for this role is currently $183,000 - $213,000 based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of compensation offered will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, market data and internal equity. Total compensation includes a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, yearly retirement contribution, and may include an annual discretionary merit bonus.
New York based applicants only: The target annual salary range for this role is currently $205,000 - $240,000 based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of compensation offered will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, market data and internal equity. Total compensation includes a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, yearly retirement contribution, and may include an annual discretionary merit bonus.
Washington, DC based applicants only: The target annual salary range for this role is currently $195,000 - $228,000 based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of compensation offered will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, market data and internal equity. Total compensation includes a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, yearly retirement contribution, and may include an annual discretionary merit bonus.
