*Job Title:* Customer Order Administrator Schedule: M-F, 8a-5p CST
*Role is hybrid, but first 3 months are REQUIRED ONSITE in Cedar Rapids, IA for training (this is non-negotiable)* *Position Overview* The *Customer Order Administrator* serves as the primary support role for the Intertrade Sales Team and acts as the principal customer contact for all sales orders and related support functions. This position is responsible for managing a wide range of order entry and administration activities, from simple to complex, ensuring compliance with departmental procedures, Global Trade requirements, and workflow standards. The role also supports timely shipping and invoicing to meet Intertrade and customer commitments. *Key Responsibilities* * Create and oversee sales orders in alignment with established requirements. * Facilitate and monitor exchange orders, warranty requests, credits, and purchase requests. * Process administrative tasks related to the sale or credit of materials. * Collaborate internally with sales, product line, repairs, finance, global trade, and purchasing teams. * Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve transactional issues. * Manage the general sales support email inbox, ensuring proper routing and timely processing of orders and customer requests. * Ensure compliance with Global Trade policies and DOC/DOS license requirements for global exports. * Participate in developing and implementing cross-departmental procedures and processes. *Skills & Attributes* * *Cooperation:* Works effectively as part of a team to achieve shared goals. * *Customer Service Orientation:* Applies fundamental service techniques and adheres to proper customer interaction protocols. * *Dependability:* Consistently follows through on assignments and supports organizational policies. * *Detail Orientation:* Maintains accurate records and can quickly provide documentation or status updates. * *Self-Development:* Engages in at least one professional development activity annually to stay current in the field. * *Multitasking:* Thrives in a fast-paced environment and manages interruptions without compromising workflow. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
