Event Emergency Medical Technician (Event EMT) Starting at $18.75-$23.75 Location: 388 Greenwich St, New York, NY 10013 Schedule: Full- Time Monday-Friday Morning Shift 5:30AM-12:45PM Afternoon Shift 12:45PM-8:00PM We're hiring Event Emergency Medical Technicians (Event EMTs) to deliver high-quality patient care and customer service to Citi Bank Headquarters employees, visitors and contractors. The EMT will work hand in hand with headquarters medical and wellbeing staff. Responsibilities:
- Ensures that event activities are aligned with CrowdRx goals and strategic plan.
- Deliver on-site BLS level care in accordance with all applicable medical guidelines and protocols.
- Calmly and professionally responds to calls for emergency medical assistance and public safety issues within assigned venue or event area.
- Coordinates and arranges emergent and non-emergent transport for patients to higher level of care.
- Communicate effectively with venue or event staff and other local officials to provide critical information.
- Utilize medical equipment and procedures as required to provide appropriate and high-quality patient care.
- Properly generate and submit all required response and patient care documentation.
- Properly maintain all issued uniforms and response gear and utilize all personal protective equipment.
- Keep current on EMT and all required state certifications / licenses.
- Monitor and maintain the condition of first aid offices and medical gear, ensuring that all supplies and equipment are in-date and in proper working order.
- Follow all policies and procedures and ensure compliance with all established report times.
- Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
- Communicates public health / safety issues to venue staff and internal management.
Physical / Lifting Requirements (Minimum)
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 125 pounds individually.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 250 pounds with assistance (partner or equipment).
- Must be capable of frequent lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, and reaching during patient care and transport.
- Must be able to move patients safely on stretchers, stair chairs, and other transport devices through various environments (stairs, uneven terrain, confined spaces, etc.).
- Must have the physical strength, stamina, and coordination to perform CPR and other emergency procedures for extended periods.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long durations during shifts and events.
MinimumRequired Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- New York State EMT or Paramedic credential required.
- Current BLS Provider Certification (AHA or equivalent)
- Applicable State certification(s)
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- 1+ years experience as an EMS provider preferred.
- 911 Experience preferred.
- Effective customer service skills.
- A working understanding special event operations and customer service
