As a Security Officer Residential Access Control Specialist in Calabasas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a premier residential location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and commitment to customer service will create a welcoming environment for residents and guests. This is a driving post, so you will need to meet our driver's license requirements. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the residential community.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the location, following established access control protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate parties as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.
• Collaborate with residents, guests, and property management to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and proof must be provided as requested by the client.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
