Job Overview The Supply Chain Finance Analyst serves as a key point of contact providing analytical support for Macy's Supply Chain. The Analyst collaborates effectively, delivers results, and thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. They demonstrate a high level of proficiency in systems and databases to create queries, develop ad-hoc reports, and transform data into analytics with actionable insights. The Analyst thinks critically through complex scenarios and ambiguous situations, providing clear, actionable options to drive informed decision-making. What You Will Do
Skills You Will Need Financial & Operational Analysis - Ability to interpret complex financial and operational data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Data Management & Reporting - Proficient in extracting, manipulating, and analyzing data from multiple sources; skilled in developing automated and ad hoc reports using Excel and other analytics tools. Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving - Demonstrates strong critical thinking and the ability to translate data into actionable insights that inform business strategy and decision-making. Technical Proficiency - Advanced Excel skills with experience in financial systems, ERP platforms, and business intelligence tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI, Tableau). Collaboration & Communication - Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present complex information clearly and build effective partnerships with cross-functional teams and business leaders. Organization & Execution - Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Who You Are
