Job Description

What is the opportunity?

Working on the Account Onboarding and Servicing team to solve complex integration problems. This role will collaborate with many other RBC application teams and our architect partners to help drive holistic solutions that can help to create an industry leading onboarding tool.

This role will partner closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high performance technology solutions that drive growth, enhance client experience and boost efficiency.

We're seeking a dynamic leader with a strong sense of ownership and urgency who thrives in ambiguity and has excellent technical acumen while fostering a culture of innovation, open communication and continuous learning and improvement.

What will you do?

  • Partner closely with Product Owners and Technical resources aligned to our Business Partners.
  • Collaborate with IT partners and Solutions architect to develop integration solutions which will support our business goals.
  • Triage and review data integrity issues as new solutions are developed to ensure accurate end to end processes
  • Present creative ideas to enhance the overall Account Onboarding process at RBC for all users
  • Serve as a main point of contact to our technical partners to assist in translating business requirements to technical solutions
  • Lead and conduct group sessions to design solutions and create execution plan
  • Assist in prioritization for Agile technical and business teams across larger program

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of financial services industry experience, preferably with a broker-dealer or other large financial advisory firm.
  • Proven experience providing technical leadership in developing and optimizing integration services and implementing middleware technologies (Custom Java, Mulesoft, Kafka, etc..).
  • Demonstrated strong team leadership and ability in written and oral communication skills, along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SQL and Vizio.
  • Excellent collaboration and team-building skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with technical team members.

Nice-to-have

  • Proven experience using vendor e-signature tools
  • Basic understanding of regulatory rules related to account opening and client onboarding processes

The expected salary range for this particular position is $85,000-$150,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.

You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
