About the job and your team

Direct supervision of hourly employees to make maximum use of manpower to cast a quality product while following all safety processes and driving a safety culture.

You will work on

Ensures that all safe practices are followed and provides strong support to ensure C7 programs are followed.
Assure that operating practices are followed.
Maintain a working knowledge of Casthouse/Saws equipment, systems and casting methods to meet production and quality goals while operating in a safe manner and within reasonable cost limits.
Maintain an ongoing training program so that each Casthouse employee is trained as required.
Maintain open and fair employee relations for optimum results.
Operating the spec lab.
Physical inventory of finished product, semi-finished product & raw materials as needed.
Maintain direct reports timesheets.
Other such duties as assigned by the Casthouse Manager.

Your qualifications and skills

Journey Level Operator trained in Furnace, DC Casting, Homogenization and Saws is preferred.
