AGE Solutions is looking for an Intermediate Network Field Services Engineer (Telecommunications)to join our team onsite at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPH). The Intermediate Network Field Services Engineer owns incidents end-to-end across Layers 1-3 (L1-L3); leads escalations with Defense Information Systems Agency Pacific (DISA PAC), Commercial Ethernet Gateway (CEG), internet service providers (ISPs), and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Designs and executes cutovers for multi-device suites; authors/approves MOPs. Coaches Level I; leads maintenance windows. This is an onsite position based on the island of Oahu, HI with travel required throughout the island. Occasional travel to Kauai, HI is also required. Candidates must be local to Oahu. Responsibilities Include: Complex voice/circuit recoveries (PRI/SIP trunks, clocking/timing, channel service unit/data service unit CSU/DSU, serial RS-530/RS-422/RS-449). Inter-base activations involving Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) ordering and acceptance. Build baselines, quality of service (QoS) for voice, and perform problem-trend analysis. Requires Skills, Qualifications and Experience: Citizenship and Clearance: US Citizenship is required. Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) eligible; Department of Defense (DoD) Secret preferred Experience: 5+ years of relevant work experience. Qualifications: Deep L2/L3 (OSPF area design; border gateway protocol BGP peering basics; QoS). Certifications (Preferred): Security+ CE; CCNA/JNCIA; Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent.
