AGE Solutions is looking for an Associate Network Field Services Engineer (Telecommunications) to join our team onsite at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPH). The Associate Network Field Services Engineer is responsible for executing troubleshooting via command-line interface (CLI), graphical user interface (GUI), and network management systems (NMS) with guidance. Handles routine voice repairs (foreign exchange office/foreign exchange station FXO/FXS; Primary Rate Interface/Session Initiation Protocol PRI/SIP) and basic circuit issues (time-division multiplexing TDM, Ethernet). Performs cross-connects in main/intermediate distribution frames (MDF/IDF); follows methods of procedure (MOPs). This is an onsite position based on the island of Oahu, HI with travel required throughout the island. Occasional travel to Kauai, HI is also required. Candidates must be local to Oahu. Responsibilities Include: Replace/turn up single devices (switch, router, voice gateway); baseline configs using templates. Assist with telecommunications service orders (TSOs) and circuit layout records (CLRs). Collect bit-error-rate (BER) and RFC 2544/Y.1564 test results; update port maps. Requires Skills, Qualifications and Experience: Citizenship and Clearance: US Citizenship is required. Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) eligible; Department of Defense (DoD) Secret preferred Experience: 0-5 years of relevant work experience. Qualifications: Solid Layer-2/Layer-3 (L2/L3) basics (virtual LANs/VLANs, spanning tree/STP, link aggregation/LACP, open shortest path first/OSPF fundamentals). Certifications (Preferred): Security+ Continuing Education (CE); Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA); Juniper Networks Certified Associate (JNCIA).
