Description

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for generating sales by effective management of designated territories. This individual will also develop ongoing, profitable relationships with our distribution partners and end users while continuing to maintain a professional image of the company. Integrity, passion, and in-person presentational skills as well as a firm understanding of pricing modules and sales strategy are essential for this role. Travel is required (up to 60%).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • New business development in designated territory in conjunction with the local Agency partner.
  • Development of sales strategy and market penetration with Agency partner and Agency representatives. Marketplace analysis of competition and market development planning for targeted accounts and territories.
  • Sales Training- Ongoing support and sales training of new and current Agency reps in all designated marketplaces.
  • Maintenance of existing GameTime /Agency customer relationships. Responsibilities include new product training, supporting Agency in a collaborative manner on all GameTime programs and initiatives.
  • Support in resolution of all GameTime related issues i.e. Manufacturing, Shipping and pricing. Facilitating all interaction with GameTime for all agency reps in designated marketplaces.
  • Implementation and maintenance of new marketing initiatives and any ongoing GameTime and CORE programs or campaigns.
  • Accomplish sales objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching and counseling agency representatives in assigned territories.
  • Communicate GameTime/Agency goals by; conducting annual and quarterly Agency business reviews, planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions.
  • Uphold and support company policies and procedures.
  • Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company products to Agency partners and or end-users.
  • Penetrate new targeted accounts while continuing to radiate sales from within existing client base.
  • Overcome objections and provide solutions for Agency representatives.
  • Schedule and conduct Lunch and Learn/CEU meetings with target customers. Obtain certification to present such program material.
  • Attend and national and state trade shows as requested.
  • Report activities and progress using CRM system
  • Other duties may be assigned by the Senior V.P. of Sales

Education and/or Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college. Emphasis in Business Administration/Marketing preferred
  • 10 years of direct work experience in an external sales/sales management capacity
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close sales while maintaining established sales quotas
  • Professional demeanor, selling style, and appearance
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, account development, and time and territory management
  • Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers, distribution partners and internal team.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team

  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Experience with customer relationship management software
  • Experience selling to Municipalities, Landscape Architects, and or School Districts is a plus. in Sports Equipment industry and/or contractor relations is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredit
  • Required formal education level and/or years of experience and what area of expertise
  • Completion of professional sales and sales management training programs


Travel

This position will require a moderate amount of travel, 10 - 12 days per month. Travel is required (up to 60%).

Computer Skills

Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint/Canva, CRM systems, with CAD a plus.
