Position Summary: The Recruitment and Engagement Specialist, under the general direction of the Admissions Manager, will recruit for and administer admissions processes for nursing degree programs. The incumbent is responsible for managing inquiries and proactively contacting prospective students via telephone, email, and text, as well as conducting student interviews to assess program fit and readiness. In addition to these core recruitment activities, the Recruitment and Engagement Specialist, will plan, organize, and host open houses, campus tours, and information sessions designed to showcase the nursing programs to prospective students and their families. The role also includes coordinating and participating in community awareness events, college fairs, and partnership activities to enhance program visibility and build connections with local schools, healthcare organizations, and community groups. This position requires strong communication skills, an ability to engage diverse audiences, and a commitment to supporting prospective nursing students from initial inquiry through enrollment. The Recruitment and Engagement Specialist will collaborate closely with colleagues in admissions, marketing, and academic departments to ensure consistent messaging and a welcoming experience for all prospective students.. - Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (especially, Word & Excel), CARS, CX integrated database or equivalent databases.

- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and continuing students, administration, campus stakeholders, and external community partners and professional organizations.
- Manage the admissions applications process, and coordinate prospective student communication between appropriate parties.
- Provide counseling and overall customer service to prospective students at all stages in the admissions process via telephone, e-mail, text, and campus visits.
- Respond to new inquiries in a timely manner and adhere to phone and email communication strategy for all prospective students.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of program knowledge by effectively communicating program offerings and details, across a range of degree programs, to prospective students.
- Maintain ongoing communication with applicants throughout the admissions process, tracking all communications using Salesforce and CampusNexus (CNS), when applicable.
- Support and contribute to a customer-centered environment that responds effectively to prospective students' needs and ensures high-quality, timely service.
- Works collaboratively with marketing, admissions, partnership development, and academic leadership to support and contribute to strategies that drive lead generation.
- Organize and present program information at open houses, webinars, community college visits, graduation fairs, and outreach events with local businesses.
- Collect student and partner testimonials, quotes, and reviews during events and outreach; work with marketing to ensure content is authentic, diverse, and aligns with program messaging.
- Perform other related tasks, duties and responsibilities as required, assigned or directed.
Supervisory Responsibility: Direct Reports: None Indirect Reports: None Contact Responsibility: Internal: Interacts with immediate supervisor, as well as the AVP of Partnership Development, to receive direction and instructions and/or review of work results. This position will work closely with colleagues in multiple departments including Academic Deans, Program Directors, Associate Provosts, Human Resources and IT Departments as well as other University Campus Directors and members of the Partnership Development team to support both students and colleagues in achieving student success and Department goals. External: Engages with prospective students and their families to offer guidance and support throughout the admissions process. This position also builds relationships within the local community by meeting with community members and organizations to strengthen the institution's visibility and presence across the Phoenix metro area.
