Manufacturing Quality Engineer

UW Solutions, a subsidiary of Apogee Enterprises, Inc., is a leader in high-performance coated materials used in wall decor, digital displays, and industrial applications. We're growing fast and looking for a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our team in Louisville, KY.

In this role, you'll support production teams at two Louisville facilities to drive quality improvements, reduce downtime, and ensure our products meet the highest standards. You'll lead quality initiatives, analyze process data, and train others on inspection systems and best practices.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and improve product and process quality across manufacturing lines

• Support and enhance automated inspection systems

• Conduct audits, root cause analysis, and corrective actions

• Partner with production to improve yields and reduce scrap

• Provide training and coaching on quality tools and standards

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Quality, or Science

• 3-5 years of quality experience in manufacturing (coatings or similar preferred)

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Lean or Six Sigma experience a plus
