Summary: The Senior Data Product Manager plays a strategic leadership role in shaping and delivering the vision for data products across the organization. This position drives product strategy, roadmap execution, and cross-functional alignment to ensure data initiatives deliver measurable business value. The Senior Data Product Manager will oversee multiple data and analytics initiatives, manage vendor relationships, and collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders. The role requires a deep understanding of data product development within the healthcare industry, as well as the ability to translate complex clinical and analytical needs into actionable product requirements.

This exempt position will report to the Associate Vice President, Data Strategy in the Division of Executive Services. It is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $132,000 - $155,000 (commensurate with related experience).

Responsibilities:



  • Defining and executing the data product vision and roadmap aligned with enterprise goals.

  • Leading cross-functional product planning, prioritization, and execution across multiple workstreams and vendor teams.

  • Translating business and clinical data needs into structured data product deliverables (e.g., dashboards, APIs, and data marts).

  • Partnering with data engineering and architecture teams to ensure technical feasibility and scalability.

  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare data standards, including HIPAA, IRB, FHIR, SNOMED, LOINC, ICD, and CPT.

  • Engaging and influencing senior stakeholders to drive adoption, integration, and value realization.

  • Defining and tracking product KPIs, evaluating performance, and optimizing outcomes.


Required Education and/or Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field required.

  • At least 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry working with clinical data, analytics, or health technology strongly preferred.

  • Experience in developing and implementing enterprise-wide strategic plans with a successful track record of program implementation and achieving business objectives.

  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
