About the Role

We are looking for Project Managers at multiple levels to join our Advisory Services team, with a strong emphasis on wastewater and water infrastructure project management. In this role, you will oversee planning, design, and delivery efforts across multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful outcomes for municipal and utility clients. You'll manage processes such as procurement, risk management, and document control, while leading the development of project management plans, procedures, and strategies specific to wastewater systems.

This position offers remote or hybrid flexibility, with opportunities to collaborate in person for mentorship, client engagement, and team coordination.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex wastewater and water infrastructure projects, including treatment plant upgrades, conveyance systems, pump stations, and related facilities.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams providing owner's advisory services, procurement and contracting support, construction management, and risk assessment.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, schedules, budgets, and performance tracking tools to align project milestones with client goals.
  • Oversee cost estimating, risk management, value engineering, and constructability reviews to ensure effective and efficient project delivery.
  • Support alternative and collaborative delivery methods, including GC/CM, CMAR, and Design-Build.
  • Serve as a trusted client partner-providing clear communication, ensuring quality control, and proactively managing project challenges.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal preparation, RFP responses, and client presentations.

Project Manager: Minimum of 5 years of progressive project management experience in wastewater, water, or related infrastructure.


Senior Project Manager: Minimum of 10 years of progressive project management experience in wastewater, water, or related infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in owner's advisory services, procurement, and construction management for municipal wastewater or water programs.
  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling, cost management, and risk mitigation strategies specific to wastewater infrastructure.
  • Experience with alternative delivery methods (GC/CM, CMAR, Design-Build) preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and maintain alignment with client objectives.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

Compensation Information: Base salary for this position will depend on the role.

Project Manager in the range of $95,000-$125,000+.

Senior Project Manager in the range of $125,000-$150,000+.

Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. We value transparency and look forward to discussing our compensation structure.
