Position Title: Production Operator
Wage: $17.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Monday - Friday) Do you enjoy hands on manual labor? Do you have experience with coatings removal? This could be your next role! Production Operator Responsibilities: - Load and unload ovens and tanks - Process product though chemical dip system and other specialized coatings removal dipping operations - Package product for shipment - Comply with benchmark processing times - Rotate parts from the stripping process to the wash bay, RP, dry-off ovens and packing area - Power wash parts and products with a 3000 psi power washer - Load hand baskets and rotate parts from one basket to the other - Identify and sort parts to download into containers - Reposition parts - Complete wash logs, oven logs, and weight charts - Operate scales - Start burn off oven and dry-off oven - Participate in continuous improvement activities Requirements for Production Operator: - 0-2 years of manufacturing or production experience; experience in the Coatings Removal industry a plus - 0-2 years of sit-down forklift experience (prior certification preferred) - Ability to read and interpret documents - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to communicate well with the Plant Manager, Assistant Plant Manager, employees, contractors, vendors, customers, and senior leaders - Demonstrated experience adhering to deadlines - Knowledge of tools and equipment - Excellent customer service skills - Professional and positive attitude - Able to lift 50lbs QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
