Responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects to support the organization's strategic objectives. Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with organizational priorities. Provides leadership to project teams, facilitates collaboration, and drives successful project outcomes.
Essential Functions
-Leads the development and implementation of project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
-Coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
-Monitors project progress, identifies risks and implements mitigation strategies to address challenges.
-Oversees resource allocation, budgeting, and financial tracking to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
-Prepares and presents project updates, status reports, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
-Ensures compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
-Facilitates stakeholder engagement and manages expectations to achieve project goals.
-Mentors and supports project team members to promote professional growth and ensure high performance.
-Continuously evaluates and improves project management processes and methodologies.
-Manages 5-8 direct reports

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Project Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field of study required

  • Master's Degree Related Field of Study preferred

  • Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

Experience

  • 8+ years of project management experience required

  • 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role required

  • 2-3 years of experience within a healthcare or hospital environment preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong leadership and team management skills to guide and support project teams.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in project management tools, software, and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders and ensure project success.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to address challenges and drive solutions.

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, best practices, and healthcare industry standards.
