Job Description

Visa's Internship Program provides an immersive, 12-week journey where you'll work on impactful projects that drive Visa's mission forward. As a Visa intern, you'll build valuable connections across the organization, sharpen your communication and business acumen, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, global environment.

The NA Deal Team is comprised of Deal Strategy and Development, Deal Leads and Deal Operations / Effectiveness groups. Deal Operations is a project management and sales enablement team chartered to drive improvement and consistency across various processes across the end-to-end deal management cycle in North America.

The Business Process Analyst Intern - NA Deal Ops will assist with modeling of end-to-end deal management processes to identify improvement opportunities. This is an optimal learning opportunity for someone with analytical skills and attention to detail. The intern will apply these skills to real-world business process improvement initiatives. The Intern will also assist in various process improvements which may involve usage of GenAI for deal reporting optimization using Co-Pilot Studio and/or ChatGPT.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as an effective liaison between Sales, Finance, Operations, Legal, Client Services, and other functions across the organization.
  • Design business process models using MS Visio and/or other process flow modeling tools.
  • Capture feedback on potential improvements and develop quantitative measures for identified improvement initiatives and optimization efforts.
  • Support the business process improvement program through initiation, detailed project planning, risk identification and management, project execution and control, reporting, and closure.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree with a graduation date in December 2026-August 2027
  • Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications that demonstrate professional judgment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Basic knowledge of payment products.
  • Proactive, self-starter, and strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Process-oriented with the ability to document processes and achieve goals across multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other functional areas to understand operational issues.
  • Client-focused, with a determination to resolve issues and conflicts.
  • Curious mindset and a hands-on approach to all activities, with real passion for the payments industry.
  • Some working knowledge of GenAI tools such as Microsoft Copilot studio and ChatGPT
Additional Information

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated hourly range for a new hire into this position is $30/hr to $35/hr which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

Work Hours:Varies upon the needs of the department

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Travel Requirements:This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements:This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
