Title: APP Outpatient Location: Appleton, Wisconsin Position Description: The Department of Dermatology, Division of Pediatric Dermatology, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to collaborate with pediatric dermatology physicians and an interdisciplinary health care in the ambulatory outpatient environment located in northeast WI at the Children's Wisconsin Appleton Clinic and Ashwaubenon Clinic. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will work as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching. This is an ideal position for a pediatric specialist with a desire to work in a world-class academic medicine environment while living in a thriving area perfect for raising a family and surrounded by incredible natural beauty. This APP will augment pediatric dermatology care currently provided by physicians in northeast WI. The position will be based in the outpatient pediatric dermatology clinics in Appleton and Ashwaubenon, with the opportunity to participate in clinics and conferences in the Milwaukee metro area approximately 1-2 times monthly. Initial training in pediatric dermatology will be in the Milwaukee metro area for an anticipated 3 to 12 months, depending on prior experience. The Ideal Candidate will be an independent and experienced APP who has excellent attention to detail and is a collaborative team player with a strong interest in building an independent practice within a thriving and very collaborative academic pediatric dermatology division.
