Location: Plymouth, IN
Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Rotating Weekends

Pregis is seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined Assistant Operator to support foam plank lamination operations. This role is ideal for someone with prior manufacturing experience, especially in machine setup or operation, who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

As an Assistant Operator, you'll work closely with the Operator to:

• Set up and operate production lines to meet quality and efficiency standards
• Assist with machine adjustments, including slitters, perforations, and rewinders
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and core cutting machines
• Perform quality checks (length/width, vacuum tests, micrometer readings)
• Minimize scrap and support material recovery
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Support production utility workers and cross-train across departments as needed

• Prior manufacturing experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
• Forklift and powered industrial vehicle experience
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow detailed instructions
• Safety-conscious mindset and familiarity with PPE requirements
• Team player with strong communication and a positive attitude
• Willingness to work in a warm, active environment with frequent standing, squatting, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
