Location Profile

Located in Wilder, KY and founded in 1946, Andrews Laser Works specializes in the fabrication of complex assemblies from Inconel, steel, aluminum, and titanium sheet with a core competency in aero engine brackets and components. Utilizing laser cutting, machining, forming, stamping, welding, & assembly processes, the company transforms sheet metal into complex, tight-tolerance brackets for aircraft engines. With an ever-changing aerospace industry in which customers continually ask suppliers to integrate and innovate, Andrews Laser Works is responding to the challenge.

Job Description

The Sales Manager will manage our internal and external customer expectations, communications, negotiations, and scope creep for Andrews Laser Works. The primary goal of the role will be to successfully build and manage customer relationships, communications, and expectations to reduce risk to the company utilizing effective communication and negotiation skills.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for contract analysis, strategy, and high-level information exchanges with major customers
  • Manages reporting and data organization for all commercial activities
  • Supports facility in tactical customer endeavors
  • Standardizes sales functions such as quoting and contract strategy, leverages best practices across the Division, and conducts costs structure comparison between plants
  • Attends customer meetings/conferences and handles mid to low-level issues and negotiations
  • Gives high-level presentations to customers and creates sales presentations in support of leadership
  • Conducts day-to-day sales functions including data mining, spreadsheet modeling, and database entry
  • Build, or foster existing relationships, with key internal customer contacts
  • Negotiation of contracts and engineering change requests based on requested technical changes and/or scope creep eliminating cost overruns and/or schedule delays
  • Other duties as assigned


Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's degree, engineering or quantitative education preferred
  • MBA with financial or sales focus Manufacturing experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of commercial sales or analysis experience
