What You Will Do: Preparing quarterly reserve adequacy analysis Reviewing and understanding analytical models that apply actuarial techniques Conducting ad hoc studies to substantiate required reserve balances Completing special projects as required What You Will Learn: Skills in how to present complex financial analyses to senior management (NAFTA CFO, NAFTA CAO) Fundamentals of actuarial modelling methods and techniques that can be used in forecasting Role Will Prepare You For: Interfacing with and presenting to senior management How to document and explain forecast variances Any position requiring the analysis of large quantities of data Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or related 5+ years of finance or accounting related experience, or 4 years with MBA Ability to budget, forecast, and report using analytical models Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills Ability to work in a cross functional team through multiple tasks/assignments with relatively short deadlines Working knowledge of accounting principles Some previous exposure to SOX compliance Preferred Qualifications: MBA or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA or similar professional designation Previous experience with forecasting and interaction with the monthly close process Salaried Employee Benefits (US, Non-Represented) Health & Wellbeing Comprehensive coverages encompassing the Physical, Mental, Emotional, and overall Wellbeing of our employees, including short- and long-term disability.
