Job Title: Sourcing Specialist - II
Location: Richmond, VA
Job Summary:


  • Vendor Managers provide direct support in managing performance, risk and relationships with National IT's third-party providers.
  • You will work closely with vendors and internal FRS teams on a variety of activities to support active management of assigned vendors through activities such as performance management, risk assessments, relationship management and collaboration, executive meeting facilitation to drive outcomes, and incident and escalation support as needed.
  • This role will provide the opportunity to interact with a broad group of stakeholders, requiring the Advisor to have excellent communication and influence skills and prior third-party risk management experience.




Primary Responsibilities:


  • Manage assigned portfolio of National IT vendor relationships; ensure compliance with third-party risk management framework.
  • Monitor vendor performance and solve issues efficiently, support thorough account management by reviewing established quality metrics and contract commitments; ensuring vendors are providing the services and obligations in accordance with contracted terms outlined in their vendor agreements.
  • Collaborate regularly with leaders on strategic and tactical vendor related items within your assigned portfolio of vendors.
  • Facilitate and participate in discussions with vendors and FRS resources to support organization, performance and other needs.
  • Collaborate with internal FRS teams on execution of third-party continuous monitoring activities, inclusive of identifying and assessing risks and mitigating controls.
  • Assist with contract assessments and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal executives/teams on vendor resiliency and contingency planning requirements.
  • Support key program objectives, as needed, to ensure Third Party Risk Management's critical 2025 goals are accomplished in alignment with organizational expectations.




Qualification:


  • Vendor Manager




Key Competencies:


  • Prior Third-Party risk management and/or relationship management experience, understanding of risk management principles, effective communication (both written and verbal); relationship management; problem solving and analysis; influence and advisory, attention to detail.
