We are currently seeking a Quality Supervisor!
Job Summary Responsible for the management of quality control activities for medical and industrial products. Ensures that all products meet required specifications and are produced in compliance with company policies and procedures. The Quality Supervisor will manage a team of Quality Inspectors across three shifts and collaborate with cross-functional teams within operations to produce quality products. Essential Job Functions * Manage the day-to-day activities of the Quality Inspectors. * Investigate nonconformances, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate the required approvals throughout the process workflow. * Schedule and lead rework activity, when required. * Escalation of production issues to the Quality Manager. * Review Device History Records for accuracy, compliance, and completeness. * Participate in continuous improvement and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions). * Support internal and external audits. * Manage the instrument calibration program, including scheduling and communication with internal and external calibration providers. * Perform instrument calibrations. Requirements * Two-year technical degree, preferred. * 5+ years Quality experience working in a manufacturing environment. * 2+ years management experience. * Experience with both medical devices and industrial products. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Knowledge of Oracle PLM preferred * Knowledge of ISO 13485, MDSAP, FDA 21 CFR 820, and EU MDR * Comfortable with MS Office (Word, Excel, PP) * Ability to take initiative; completion of tasks in an accurate and timely manner; attention to detail * Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment. * Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability and willingness to interact with all people in a sensitive, responsive manner. * Excellent verbal, and written communication skills; Active listening skills. Other Information This position is exposed to both quiet office noise level and loud machine noise when required to go into the production area. Participate in the reduction of risk and injury in the workplace by completing required job safety training, identifying workplace risks, wearing required personal protective equipment, not operating equipment without proper safety training; compliance to Safety Standards and Policy: Immediately informing manager, supervisor, and/or Team Leader of unsafe conditions, practices, incidents, and injuries. |
