It is part of a larger General Counsel, Ethics, Risk, and Compliance business unit within the company. The Litigation section manages major incident response, pre-litigation disputes, state and federal court litigation through trial and appeal, as well as mediation and arbitration of disputes and claims. The cases managed by the litigation team covers many areas of law including contract, tort (personal injury and property damage), real estate law, intellectual property, antitrust, securities, and class action. Position Summary PG&E is seeking a highly skilled Counsel with a minimum of 3 years of substantive litigation experience to join our dynamic litigation team. This role reports to the Managing Counsel of Litigation and Claims and involves providing legal advice, counsel, and representation throughout all stages of litigation. The successful candidate will handle a variety of disputes and proceedings, including responding to third-party subpoenas, lawsuits involving personal injury and property damage, real property and easement disputes, and contract and commercial matters. You will be responsible for managing your own docket of cases through resolution as well as partnering with outside counsel where appropriate. This position offers an opportunity to leverage your litigation and case management expertise to make a significant impact. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of thejob posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will bebased on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience,market value, and geographic location.The decisionwill be made on a case-by-casebasis related tothese factors.This job is also eligible to participate inPG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.
