Pantry Coordinator Assistant (Temporary)

This is a part-time (19 hours/week) temporary position that will last for 22 weeks.

The Pantry Coordinator Assistant is responsible for assisting in the operations of the corps food pantry, including stocking, coordination/receipt of product donations, filling client food orders, coordinating pantry volunteers, and scheduling of pickups and deliveries.

About the role:

• Answer phone calls and relay important information.
• Help clients load items into their vehicle
• Help with various clerical duties and paperwork
• Organize intake of nonfood donations
• Stock shelves
• Assist with weekly cleaning duties
• Stay up to date on relevant training
• Assist in maintaining pantry and storage areas in clean and orderly condition.
• Assist with check-in process for food pantry clients in accordance with TEFAP data collection requirements. Assists clients with shopping for all groceries, frozen items, produce, personal hygiene items, and pet food (if available).
• Assist new clients with necessary paperwork.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: One year experience in related field
