Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:



Must be at least 18 years old. Related experience is helpful. A current and valid driver's license is required for community based homes.

We are seeking House Manager Aide to join our team in our Crafton, PA locations.




Ability to conduct and implement functional assessments.



Ability to read and write.



Ability to prepare necessary reports and records, and recording of residents' program progress with accuracy and completeness.



Ability to plan and supervise social, recreational, work and program activities for residents in an assigned living area.



Ability to maintain an understanding attitude toward the residents.



Ability to keep and maintain records with accuracy and completeness.



Ability to cope with day-to-day problems and to record and report observations.



Ability to lift and transfer residents, utilizing prescribed techniques, usually exceeding fifty (50) pounds.



Ability to follow procedures established for care and use of equipment and food preparation.



Ability to maintain effective communication with staff and verbal and nonverbal residents, including use of basic sign language and assistive communication devices. (In-servicing provided by appropriate professional staff.)



Ability to implement proper practices and techniques of supervision of residents.



Ability to demonstrate flexibility and initiative in the job responsibilities and follow instructions.



Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when communicating with the families of residents.
