Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:



  • A master's degree in psychiatry, psychology, social work, nursing, education, rehabilitation or a graduate degree in the field of human services with 3-5 years' experience in a CASSP setting providing direct services.
  • 2 years' experience providing supervision and a minimum of one providing clinical supervision, guidance or consultation is preferred.
  • Professional licensure is preferred.

About the Role

The Family Based Clinical Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing and guiding clinical services provided to families within a community-based setting. This position is responsible for ensuring that therapeutic interventions are delivered effectively, ethically, and in alignment with best practices to promote family well-being and resilience. The supervisor will provide direct clinical oversight, mentorship, and support to clinicians working with diverse family systems, fostering professional growth and high-quality care. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and address complex family dynamics. Ultimately, the Family Based Clinical Supervisor contributes to the enhancement of service outcomes by maintaining rigorous clinical standards and promoting a supportive environment for both clients and staff.


Job Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to family-based therapists and clinicians, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices.
  • Review and evaluate clinical documentation, treatment plans, and progress notes to maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular individual and group supervision sessions to support clinician development and address clinical challenges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, case managers, and external agencies, to coordinate comprehensive care for families.
  • Facilitate training and professional development opportunities focused on family therapy techniques, cultural competence, and trauma-informed care.
  • Monitor client outcomes and utilize data to inform clinical decision-making and improve service delivery.
  • Ensure ethical standards and confidentiality are upheld in all clinical interactions and documentation.
  • Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives to enhance family-based services.
