A Brief Overview The Demand Optimization Analyst ensures the rights tools and processes are in place to create accurate demand forecasts. The Demand Optimization Analyst will create reports for monitoring forecast accuracy in addition to other forecast metrics. By working closely with the demand planning team, this position will drive continuous improvement in our demand and forecast process. Responsibilities Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve forecasting models and processes Collaborate with the Demand Planning team to improve and develop optimization tools, ensure that tools are user-friendly and meet the needs of the planning team and other stakeholders Consults, mentors, and trains team members on systems and processes and provides guidance on adjustments to demand inputs Create dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators and improve forecast accuracy Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the Demand Planning organization Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's Degree required in business related area required or High School Diploma (or GED) accepted, with additional experience (see below) required APICS certification preferred 4-6 years of Analyst experience required and 8-10 years of equivalent work experience in operations, sales, planning and/or supply chain will be considered in place of a Bachelor degree required Familiar with SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) Supply chain knowledge & Inventory Control knowledge Advanced MS Office Suite Products Analytical/quantitative skills required Project management skills Good interpersonal and communication skills Build collaborative relationships Good organizational skills Analytical Thinking in terms of problem solving Can work independently Customer focused Must perform well under stress and maintain composure Come and join our Sparkling team!
