As the Strategic Data Administrator supporting field promotions and events you will use data, statistical and quantitative analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and fact-based management to develop new insights, enhance understanding of our performance and guide decision-making for our field sales team. You will develop dashboards, financial models, and advanced statistical models, and data scrubbing, validation, and manipulation.
You will report to the Director, Field Promotions, Events, and Planning.

Position Compensation Range:

$78,000.00 - $128,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities

Project Support (35%)


  • Assist with project tasks: meeting coordination, supply acquisition, communication, and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain tracking systems for field promotions, events, and deliverables.
  • Serve as liaison for information requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain project reports.
  • Coordinate logistics and materials to support project objectives.
  • Support project managers with data and status documentation for events and performance metrics.


Data & Reporting Support (30%)


  • Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets (can write advanced macros), and tracking tools.
  • Input, update, verify, and archive data as needed.
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc reports; address user queries and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Monitor systems and suggest improvements.
  • Conduct accurate business analysis and reporting to support our decisions using statistical modeling and other business analysis tools.
  • Collaborate with partners to define important financial and operational metrics to continuously monitor, track, and report performance.
  • Collaborate with partners in the development and delivery of key performance analysis and reporting.
  • Build and maintain models used to project business results; enhances the model where there is benefit in adjusting the models.
  • Ensure analysis and reporting accuracy and integrity and explain performance drivers and provide insights into performance trends.
  • Develop, test, and deploy automated reporting solutions and automated decision analytics to replace manual business processes.

Communication Support (20%)


  • Design and maintain internal web content; support online communications.
  • Notify staff of program status.
  • Manage mail lists, test links, and proof communications before release.


Administrative Support (15%)


  • Work with vendors on ordering and billing; verify invoices.
  • Prepare presentation materials and process print requests.
  • Order office supplies and support departmental processes.
  • Provide first-level support and liaise with IT for hardware/software needs.


Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements


  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of forecasting techniques or statistical analysis.
  • Demonstrated strong experience utilizing data tools to build complex formulas and create reports.
  • Understanding of software tools to query and report data.
  • Knowledge of a variety of standard reporting software packages and best practices for report deployment processes.
  • Demonstrated experience developing data sets.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Power Point skills.
  • Jira

In this hybrid role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month out of the Madison, WI office.
