*The range provided is based on cost of living/geography and what we believe is reasonable in the market at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase, as well as long term compensation. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors.

How You'll Perform the Role

  • The role consists of four core areas of responsibility with additional opportunities related to projects and subject matter expertise.
  • This role will be responsible for multi sites within the US.
  • Managing Financials- Responsible for the accuracy of all plant financials including production volume, conversion costs, material usage variance, and standard costs. A clear understanding of inventory and the controls process are key.
  • Reporting & Analysis- Provides accurate, actionable and timely financial reporting, variance analysis, and commentary that leads to an understanding of the business enabling improved decision making and identification of opportunities.
  • Planning- Partner with the Manufacturing Team on the development of periodic forecasts and annual operating plan based on fact and sound judgment. Drive to achieve business objectives.
  • Capital Management- Supports capital investment requests by providing accurate financial analysis that meets profitability goals.
  • Projects- Identifies areas of opportunity in the business associated with continuous improvement in areas of financial performance, business acumen, processes, standard work, systems and other areas. Responsible for quantification and tracking of key projects and initiatives.


What We Need From You

  • BA/BS degree with an emphasis in finance/accounting and 5+ years relevant experience
  • Strong communications and process skills - experience working with manufacturing required
  • Detail oriented - able to drive down to a product level to develop an understanding of the business drivers
  • Ability to effectively influence key decision makers to support recommended areas of opportunity
  • Capable of communicating summarized results clearly and concisely at both a strategic and tactical level
  • Strong analytical, research, and financial modeling skills
  • Cost Accounting in the manufacturing industry - required
