*The range provided is based on cost of living/geography and what we believe is reasonable in the market at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase, as well as long term compensation. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors.

How You'll Perform the Role

  • Broad-based financial role with a wide range of responsibilities including support of the site facilities, monthly accounting and reporting, financial analysis, technical accounting issues, and internal controls. In addition, must interact regularly with plant manager and other site personnel on key accounting and operational issues.
  • Assist Accounting Supervisor with month end close for the site, which includes but is not limited to required journal entries, variance analysis and trend research, along with any other topics that may arise.
  • Ensure site maintains compliance with appropriate internal controls
  • Support with continuous improvement in the areas of accounting operations and financial reporting processes/systems. This includes proactively taking a leadership role in driving productivity and profit improvement initiatives for the company.
  • Provide financial analyses support to the manufacturing business teams.
  • Responsible for financial reporting, planning and analysis for assigned manufacturing sites on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Interprets financial performance results and translates them into operational improvements.
  • Maintain local ERP ledgers and reconcile to Hyperion financial statements
  • Analyze and review high quality and timely balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external audit teams to ensure effective and accurate reporting for prompt decision-making.
  • Liaise with IT function to assure proper IT controls for processes managed by the position.
  • Assist in integration activities (Including systematic upgrades) related to key areas of responsibility.


What We Need From You

  • A minimum of 2-3+ years of solid experience in accounting for a manufacturing company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
  • Results driven, analytical, self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to logically identify solutions or approaches to complex problems.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making ability.
  • Ability to successfully work to reach company goals in an environment in which a wide degree of creativity and flexibility is required.
  • This position may require travel less than 5% of the time.
