Summary: Kamatics, a division of Kaman, has an exciting opportunity for an Inspector to join our Bloomfield, CT team on 2nd shift. This position will perform basic inspection activities of product, materials, first piece inspection and in-process monitoring as assigned. The position reports to Value Stream Manager/Sr. Team Leader on work assignments to meet production schedules and has a dotted line to report to Quality Assurance Supervisor regarding quality issues. This is a first shift position. Hours are 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM, this includes one hour of mandatory overtime at the start of shift for a required 45 hour week. OT pay is 1.5x the hourly rate for all hours in excess of 40 in a week. Definitions: The following terms may be used to describe the required level of competency as it pertains to certain skills.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate proficiency with CMM operation to inspect product.
