Transportation Electrification CoordinatorJob Function Summary Manages the strategy, road map, feature definition and operation for assigned product/s within the transportation electrification portfolio. Key Job Information Associate Product Specialist 6733 Grade 5 Career Level: 1 Entry: Performs first-tier professional-level assignments that require theoretical knowledge and application of principles and concepts Typically requires a related college or university degree or the equivalent work experience. Note: Actual requirements vary by job Solves recurring problems by applying advanced knowledge Operates independently but also receives ongoing guidance and direction from others Key Responsibilities Market Knowledge and Product Analysis As assigned, analyzes segments of the energy market and supports more experienced colleagues in positioning products; develops market knowledge through key trade publications and participation in trade organizations and meetings/trade shows as assigned. Product Strategies Supports more experienced colleagues in developing innovative, creative and cost-effective strategies that drive the success of products; develops expertise in assigned products and champions the features and benefits of such products. Product Performance and Evaluation As assigned, tracks program/product performance and analyzes promotion/channel effectiveness; documents and reports findings. Product Life Cycle Management Supports more experienced colleagues in managing the life cycle of assigned products through the growth, maturity and decline/discontinue stages; supports the enhancement development and implementation of assigned products and expanding program participation among customers. Internal Collaboration Establishes relationships with stakeholder departments to collaborate on executing product strategies; supports more experienced colleagues in identifying customer profiles, awareness and satisfaction, drawing promotion lists and planning promotions Customer Experience Implements customer service processes and procedures to ensure high-quality customer experiences for assigned customers; may support more experienced colleagues in supporting customers who have questions or challenges with products or tools, as assigned. External Relations and Communication Participates on committees related to assigned products; establishes relations with industry organizations such as Energy Trust or Green Mountain Energy to support planning promotions and evaluating completed promotions; as assigned, communicates with trade organizations to identify developments and recommend marketing opportunities. Education/Experience/Certifications Education Requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, accounting, economics or other related field or equivalent experience. Experience Typically two or fewer years in product management, an electric utility, marketing, project management or related field. Preferred Experience Experience in C2M, Maximo, and Salesforce Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) Functional Competencies Basic knowledge of product management principles, theories, processes and practices, including product life cycle management and continuous improvement Basic knowledge of the features, functionality and benefits of products and services of an electrical utility Basic skills in researching and analyzing market data and trends, including competitive offerings, and responding to changing demands Basic skills in understanding customer needs and challenges to effectively demonstrate product benefits and solutions Basic skills in developing product strategies and plans, product budget management, and forecasting product growth Basic knowledge of finance, economic and accounting principles. Environment - Indoor/Outdoor
Compensation Range: $61,950.00 - $103,250.00Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
