RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Clinical Manager, Vascular to join our team. As a Clinical Manager, Vascular you are responsible for

providing leadership and management to Vascular services and ensures that services are provided within professional standards. Provides primary health care services in medical imaging with physician supervision. With appropriate physician supervision, exercises autonomy in decision making in the role of primary health care provider with regard to patient assessment and management, and in providing radiology and interventional services.

This is a part-time (30-39) position working 32 hours per week; day shifts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(45%) Patient Management



  • Evaluates the daily schedule of procedures with the supervising physician and determines where skills will be best utilized
  • Explains and prepares patients for procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure and providing patient support
  • Performs procedures as determined by and under the discretion of the supervising physician
  • Maintains an orderly and clean work area to promote good safety habits for patients and co-workers
  • Accurately maintains patient records within the medical record system
  • Promotes and motivates good customer relations with patients, physicians, visitors and other company personnel


(35%) Operations



  • Maintains equipment
  • Ensures compliance with state regulations and internal policies regarding documentation and tracking of safety and licensing-related items
  • Assists in marketing Vascular services to referring physicians
  • Maintains positive work relationships with referring offices and physicians
  • Remains self-motivated to increase the level of understanding and knowledge of the field, and new techniques/procedures as they evolve
  • Coordinates patient relations, ensuring a high quality of patient service is delivered
  • Orders appropriate supplies as necessary following company guidelines on inventory control
  • Partners with Vascular Administrative Supervisor on Vascular operations


(15%) Staff Management



  • Ensures comprehensive knowledge of company policies, procedures and protocols for all Vascular associates
  • Assists in staff planning and hiring process along with management
  • Manages overall staffing levels for adequate coverage at all times
  • Monitors and approves timecards
  • Oversee and assists with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise
  • Schedules routine meetings with Director of Operations
  • Attends and participates in monthly market leadership meetings
  • Initiates and participates in staff performance evaluations and development of associates including performance improvement plans, and/or disciplinary actions
  • Leads regular staff meetings and employee one-on-ones with Director of Operations
  • Participates in HR training sessions


(5%) Completes other tasks and projects as assigned

Required:



  • High School diploma, or equivalent
  • Licensed health care professional, such as ARRT registered technologist, Radiology Practitioner Assistant, ARDMS sonographer, or registered nurse.
  • Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)


Preferred:



  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Previous experience in Vascular center and interventional radiology
