Supply Chain Supervisor

Critical Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the finite daily production schedule and capabilities (changeovers, sequencing, sanitation, performance).
• Provide oversight of material ordering requirements to ensure constant availability to execute the production schedule.
• Responsible for attainment of master production plan including establishing baseline criteria. Works with corporate Sr. Supply Planner for optimal schedule development and alignment.
• Facilitates meetings for key plant and corporate resources to ensure engaged alignment to plan development and execution.
• Responsible for providing leadership to direct reports within the supply chain which may include receiving and distribution/transportation.
• Responsible for ensuring accurate inventory management, material cycle counting, and physical inventory planning.
• Responsible for working with SC Manager on staffing levels, cross-training strategies, warehouse efficiency solutions, infrastructure configuration, disposition of obsolete materials, new production introductions, etc.
• Identifies and corrects root causes of inventory discrepancies.
• Supports food safety and quality program indicatives within the plant environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor's Degree or 2-4 years of applicable experience.
• Experience in a distribution environment, food and beverage manufacturing preferred.
• Planning experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Supervisory experience with strong coaching and leadership abilities.
• Experience in creating and managing budgets.
• Knowledge of computerized inventory systems and strong computer skills.
