DESCRIPTION
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Donation Development and guidance from the Administrator on Call, the Assistant Coordinator will be responsible for responding to organ donor referrals from San Diego and Imperial County hospitals. This position requires frequent travel between multiple hospital locations during the shift, often driving to different sites on short notice. The Assistant Coordinator must obtain information on-site from hospital staff within 2 hours of the initial referral and document the information in the Lifesharing electronic record system in a timely manner. They will communicate referral findings to the Administrator on Call and provide hospital staff with clear communication on findings and follow-up instructions. The Assistant Coordinator will conduct daily on-site visits of existing referrals and assist Procurement Coordinators during organ donor cases with forms, charting data, and other documentation. This position operates on a 24-hour call schedule and requires flexibility to travel throughout the service area at any time. The minimum availability requirement for this position will be 4 to 6, 24 hour shifts per month. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $75,961 - $75,961 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $36.38 - $36.38 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
