Title: Presentation Designer

Hours: Part-time, ad-hoc. Assignments will be released when additional freelance support is needed either during normal business hours or after hours. The freelance designer will respond to assignments when they are able to take them.

You'll be instrumental in crafting high-stakes pitch decks and other essential presentations for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring every slide is clear, engaging, and impactful. **What You'll Do**

* Design and develop high-impact presentations, including critical pitch decks, for clients. Create additional print and digital assets as needed.

* Translate complex financial data and intricate concepts into clear, engaging, and visually appealing slides that resonate with diverse audiences.

* Collaborate closely with internal teams to understand project objectives and deliver design solutions that align with strategic goals.

* Ensure brand consistency and visual excellence across all presentation materials.

* Provide creative input and proactively suggest design improvements to elevate the overall quality and effectiveness of presentations.

* Work on an ad-hoc basis, expertly managing urgent requests and multiple projects with varying deadlines in a dynamic freelance setting. Take on assignments as needed based on your availability and the needs of the team (next day, same day, after hours on the East Coast)

* Potentially contribute to broader graphic design tasks, such as branding elements, web design components, or document updates, as capacity and skills allow.

**Must-Have Qualifications**

* Proven experience as a Presentation Designer, demonstrated through a strong portfolio showcasing expert-level presentation software skills.

* Direct experience working within the financial services industry or a similar corporate environment, understanding its unique communication needs.

* Advanced proficiency in presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint), including advanced features, master slide creation, and animation techniques.

* Strong graphic design skills, with proficiency in professional design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).

* Exceptional ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, ad-hoc freelance setting.

* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design choices and rationale.

* A portfolio demonstrating previous presentation design as well as other print and digital design experience

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications**

* Familiarity with AI design tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) to enhance efficiency and creativity.
