We are hiring a Year-Round Project Management Intern to be responsible for engaging with the project team, coordinating cross-functionally on project tasks, and proactively executing assigned tasks or problem-solving activities to meet committed dates. This is an opportunity to dive into a hands-on experience with the complete project management process. Position Schedule This role would require you to work part-time hours (typically 10-20 hours per week) on-site at our Grand Rapids headquarters during the academic year, and full-time hours (typically 40 hours per week) during the Summer. What you will be doing: You will support the Project Management function by: * Working directly with Project Managers and project teams as they develop new products. As experience enables, you may autonomously lead smaller scope projects under the direction of a Project Manager. * Manage and prepare documentation, such as minutes, reports, presentations for team meetings. * Plan, lead, and facilitate team meetings. * Aid in project planning and assisting/leading team activities. * Assist in discovering improvements to the Product Development and Project Management processes, tools, and methodology. * Preparing and presenting phase completion reviews with internal partners. * Collaborate with functions such as engineering, operations, industrial design, supply chain, finance, marketing, and quality to support the execution of developing new products. Qualifications: * Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at a nationally accredited program. * Actively enrolled in a degree seeking program at the time of application and throughout the duration of the internship or co-op position. * Preferred majors for this position: Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering * Preferred academic standing: Freshmen (Graduating 2029) or Sophomore (Graduating 2028). * Experience with Microsoft Office platforms (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Experience with scheduling or project management software is a plus (Smartsheet) * Interest in product development * You have demonstrated leadership in a role on and/or off campus. Work Authorization/Sponsorship Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
