Job Title: Staff Accountant - Conversational Japanese Location: Irving, TX (on-site) Office Hour: 8:00am - 5:00pm Position Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt, Direct-Hire Overview: An international company is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-focused Staff Accountant to assist with day-to-day accounting activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with some accounting experience to develop practical skills across various functions such as month-end close, cash management, revenue tracking, tax support, and accounts payable. The ideal candidate will be Japanese bilingual (conversational) and have foundational accounting knowledge. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not are limited to: Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice preparation and expense recording Assist in month-end closing by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate recording of expenses Track daily cash activities and perform routine bank reconciliations Support revenue-related tasks, including account reconciliations, revenue analysis, and reporting Help with tax-related activities, such as compiling information for corporate, sales, and 1099 filings Follow company policies and internal controls; suggest improvements to enhance workflow and accuracy Qualifications: Conversational Japanese required Basic understanding of accounting principles Some accounting experience preferred but not required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including functions like VLOOKUP and SUMIF) Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organizational skills, and effective communication Benefits: Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life), 401k, Paid Vacations, Sick Leave, Holidays, Education Assistance, and bonus After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
