The Opportunity:

Join Avantor as aGlobal Account Directorand drive strategic growth while strengthening our most valued global partnerships and customer relationships!

In this high-impact leadership role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding Avantor's performance within assigned global accounts. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for executive-level customer relationships, ensuring alignment across geographies and functions to deliver exceptional value and customer satisfaction.

Your mission: Lead cross-functional teams, optimize global pricing strategies, and unlock new opportunities to position Avantor as a trusted partner in scientific and industrial advancement.

The ideal candidate will be located in or near Philadelphia or New Jersey area to enable close collaboration with key stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Experience:

  • 7+ yearsof sales leadership experience, preferably in a matrix-driven, global environment.

  • Proven success in managing high-level customer relationships and leading cross-functional teams.

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate and influence at all organizational levels.

  • Experience in pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management strategies, for large global accounts

  • Demonstrated ability to lead presentations, develop proposals, change management and drive strategic initiatives.

  • Familiarity with global markets and cultural nuances in customer engagement.

How You Will Thrive and Create an Impact:

  • Lead strategic account management for global customers, serving as the primary liaison and ensuring alignment across sales, supply chain, pricing, and contract teams.

  • Build and manage executive-level relationships, advocating for customer needs and driving satisfaction through cross-functional collaboration.

  • Develop and execute global pricing strategies, negotiate favorable terms with manufacturers, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

  • Deliver impactful presentations and proposals for new and existing opportunities, while overseeing governance, reporting, and internal training on agreement terms.

  • Drive revenue growth by expanding share of wallet and identifying new opportunities across customer portfolios.

  • Champion digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with internal business units-including Lab & Production Services, Market Source, and BioScience Segment Solutions-to deliver integrated solutions.

  • Travel up to 50% to maintain strong customer relationships and oversee account performance globally.

Pay Transparency:

The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

$133,900.00 - $223,100.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
