Job Duties: Associate, Sales with Goldman Sachs Wealth Services, L.P. in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. Work with an advisor team to help service clients and their families, providing comprehensive personal financial planning, investment planning, and tax services to corporate employees, executives, and other high-net worth individuals. Prepare various reports and analyses for clients in the areas of personal financial statements, cash flow planning, income tax projections, insurance reviews, investment allocation, investment performance, estate document reviews, and estate flowcharts. Extensive telephone contact and face-to-face interaction with clients, and their outside advisors, to obtain information and help the advisor team provide advice. Facilitate various transactions for clients, including money movements and trades. Prepare income tax returns for clients. Utilize internal resources to research clients' financial planning inquiries, addressing topics ranging from specific tax treatments to detailed investment products. Establish trust and rapport with clients by asking open-ended questions and using inclusive language, ultimately forming long-term relationships with our clients. Assist in documenting client files to ensure all communication and client service is well documented. Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) or Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, or related field and one (1) year of experience (with a Master's) or two (2) years of experience (with a Bachelor's) in the job offered or in a related role. Prior employment must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master's) or two (2) years of experience (with a Bachelor's) with: explaining complex financial concepts clearly and concisely to clients, both in written and verbal communication; technical expertise to prepare accurate U.S. income tax projections and returns, enabling effective client counseling on tax obligations and tax minimization strategies; Estate Planning techniques to provide integrated advice aligning with clients' overall financial goals and circumstances; and investment concepts including various types of investment products, asset allocation, and risk/reward analysis.
