  • Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Responsibilities

This position is accountable for coordinating all aspects of cardiovascular research studies performed under the auspices of Hillcrest Medical Center. The incumbent ensures studies are carried out, properly monitored, and in compliance with study sponsor rules and other regulatory bodies. Responsibilities include overseeing research-related activities of the Cardiovascular Research Nurses and other clinical staff whose patients are involved in research studies.


Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date

  • Minimum 3 years of previous cardiac bedside work experience
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • 5 years of previous cardiac bedside work experience
  • Postgraduate degree
  • National Certification-Research Study Coordinator
