Job Overview: The Project Manager is responsible for discovery, planning, execution, and delivery of projects and work efforts, both in independent project work and in facilitating project teams in larger efforts. They will foster innovation, collaboration, and strategic change to improve experiences for our patients, providers, and team members. This newer position reports to the Director of Operations and is part of the Operations Leadership team. This role is ideal for a curious and creative problem-solver invested in understanding the context of project efforts through close relationship-building with colleagues, providers, and frontline staff. The Project Manager will facilitate collaboration across teams, translate strategy into clear action, and ensure that projects deliver lasting value. The Project Manager is responsible for creating and embedding standards, tools, and resources for project management methodology and process improvement across the organization. This role serves as a coach and educator so that others may effectively lead and execute projects and process improvement efforts themselves. This role will facilitate collaborative change efforts, decision-making, and communications in change management, also ensuring successful measurement and sustainment of project outcomes. This position offices at Golden Valley and includes periodic travel to all MCN sites. Key Accountabilities:
- Identify new project opportunities, investing time in the discovery phase with others to ensure full understanding in order to successfully translate ideas into action and impactful change.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with project owners and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration and clear communication throughout each phase of a project, working to create consistent standards and reduce variation.
- Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring timely delivery.
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams regarding progress, issues, and changes.
- Manage budgets, track expenditures, and provide status reports to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor progress using simple, transparent methods - emphasizing outcomes, learning, and shared ownership - incorporating metrics where appropriate.
- Build organizational confidence in project management by coaching others and sharing practical tools for leading change.
* Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Healthcare operations experience preferred.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in project management, healthcare operations, or a related role. PMP certification preferred. Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Miro, Jira, or others)
- Experience training and supporting others in project management technniques and tools desired.
- Competency and ability to guide others in using Lean process improvement and human-centered design methodologies.

- Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines, troubleshoot and resolve problems
- Ability to work independently, exhibit mature judgement and make sound decisions.
- Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost judgement and discretion.
