HOURS: Typical hours are 8:00 am - finish. May start as early as 6:00 AM. Overtime and weekend work as needed. Starting times and hours may vary depending on coverage due to report-offs and the production schedule especially during holidays. Good attendance and punctuality required.

JOB SUMMARY/ JOB DUTIES:

The receiver position will be primarily focused on using SAP transactions to receive product deliveries into the building and place incoming products into inventory. They will support the Material Handler roles and all cleaning tasks associated FSQ for bulk flour. All duties will be performed safely and with all HACCP/FSP requirements being met.

Principle accountabilities

1.Manages, receives and monitors bulk flour product deliveries

2.Supports receiving liquid tankers and deliveries

3.Supports and manage cleaning task in flour rooms associated with the FSQ department

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

*Responsible for learning and managing all task associated with the flour system. This includes disassembling and reassembling equipment.

*Communicates thoroughly with the supervisor regarding problems, unfinished task workload, quality issues, safety issues, transactions, requests or requirements, schedule changes or any situation requiring attention. Must be able to communicate directly with vendors and truck drivers.

*Ability to be independent and make decisions based on the current situation.

*Must maintain accurate records of unloading times to offset demurrage charges.

*This position will be required to understand and evaluate quality procedures relate to bulk flour, verifying both accuracy and efficiency procedures.

*Responsible for unloading flour trucks and tanker according to delivery schedule, SAP and production schedules.

*Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions including cleaning and maintaining outside receiving area.

*Inspections of inbound deliveries both products, trucks and trailers.

*Analyzes bulk problems/deficiencies relative to the plant and/or equipment. Recommend proper course of corrective action to reduce future occurrences.

*Inspect and analyze tailings according to corporate policy and assists in maintaining records for tailings in computerized system.

*Manage and schedule silo/bin cleaning with production and FSQ. Maintain records in computerized system.

*Must understand SAP transactions and have computer knowledge.

*Analyzes equipment performance and enter/creates work orders into the SAP system accurately describing problems of the equipment. Work collaboratively with maintenance when issues arrive.

*Responsible for maintaining good, open communication channels with all departments. Works together with other departments to assist in achievement of primary plant goals and objectives.

*Knowledge of good inventory practices. i.e. pallet type, stacking methods and FIFO rotation, including location of warehouse storage areas.

*Prepares and maintains accurate Lot Code Traceability records.

*Must be able to lift, maneuver and handle equipment up to 50 pounds.

*Position is contingent on passing Powered Industrial Equipment physical and successful completion of licensing requirements.

*Position requires working from heights, utilizing ladders and use of harness/fall prevention systems.

*This position will be required to work cross-functionally to assist with the Receiving/Material Handler and FSQ team.

*Work with inventory coordinators daily to verify physical counts with SAP counts. Makes any adjustments as needed.

*This position may require overtime as deemed necessary to support operations activities and delivery schedules. Start time may fluctuate depending on delivery schedules

*Ensures all SQF, HACCP/FSP, CTS, Safety, and GMP standards are adhered to.

*Maintains work area to "5S" cleanliness, housekeeping and organizational standard.

*Review and respond to schedules changes, emails, documents, other task in a timely manner.

*Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

*Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

*Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

*Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge SAP Manufacturing software, Access, Word, Excel (Windows based software).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

*Distribution/Receiving/shipping/material handling

*Forklift

*SAP, Computer programs

*Qualified applicant will have thorough knowledge of all HACCP/CTS/GMP/JSA/SOP policies and procedures for Scaling, Mixer Helper and Packaging Utility positions

*Must possess a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent. Two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, hot/cold temperature extremes, high industrial noise levels, forklift traffic and wet environments.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is expected to comply with all safety regulations, support plant safety initiatives, proper operating procedures and utilize prescribed safety equipment such as safety eyeglasses, safety shields, gloves, earplugs, respirators, and approved footwear.

Ability to deal with a changing work environment and high-pressure situations. Must be able to work in a team environment.

This position may require overtime as deemed necessary to support operations activities.

Successful bid is contingent on passing Powered Industrial Equipment physical and licensing requirements.

Employees' approved vacation subject to change when bidding to a new area.

There will be a 90-day evaluation period to ensure satisfactory performance.

Must stay on the job one year.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
