Pay Range: $89,000 - $126,000 Job Summary: The Manager of Supply Planning is a critical role within the Planning function that delivers against aggressive Sales and Supply Chain goals. This role supports readying the internal and external manufacturing network for current & future business growth while driving continuous improvement and creating a satisfying, productive, and learning work environment. The Manager of Supply Planning oversees a team of skilled planners to successfully lead the supply and production planning of TSI Finished goods. Critical for this role is to coach and manage the Supply Planning team to take actions and responsibility, encourage continuous improvement, and be balanced business partners across the organization. What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):
- Foster collaboration with functional leaders to confirm alignment and enablement of TSI supply chain strategy and priorities.
- Improve flexibility/responsiveness across the supply chain, be recognized as a benchmark planning organization.
- Identify issues and opportunities within defined supply chain to understand root causes as well as define sustainable solutions for optimum service & costs.
- Develop advanced planning & inventory management capabilities to meet the needs & complexity of the business.
- Lead from end-to-end MTS inventory management strategy and its execution (production attainment and adherence to safety stocks)
- As Finished Goods Supply process owner develop multiple scenarios and contingency plans, articulate key decisions and recommendations to Supply Chain Leadership team, highlighting service, inventory and cost tradeoffs.
- Working with stakeholders to monitor new products and proactively adjust production.
- Responsible for Finished Goods reporting and reducing obsolescence exposure
- Lead team by establishing goals tied to operational objectives identified for the fiscal year by prioritizing resources and holding employees accountable
- Develop team by identifying gaps in skill & competency level and address through individualized coaching and development planning
- Own the supply planning system/s, leverage tools to optimize planning and own the vision for future system capability requirements.
- Establish/drive improvements, include initiatives to reduce end-to-end lead-time and costs while improving service
- Establish, measure and meet key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to the supply chain and ensures delivery in terms of service and costs
- Manage S&OE and S&OP Supply processes, identifying opportunities for enhancement and continuous improvement as business needs change
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need (Qualifications): Technical Expertise Required
- Proficiency with desktop applications, including advanced Excel skills and Power BI.
- Extensive experience with ERP & Planning systems and exposure to Microsoft Dynamics a plus.
Education/Training Required
- BA/BS with an emphasis in Business Operations or Supply Chain, or other job-related field or equivalent business experience is required.
- 7-10 + years Supply Chain Management/Operations/Finance experience with 3+ years management experience
